Can we expect 80% hike after 6 months in the current organization. I'm not actually planning to move out because of of hike, but because of the project which I got in which I'm not comfortable with. I'm interested to stay in the organization. But my supervisor said I have to stay in this project for atleast 5 years and HR asked to stay for atleast 2 years which I feel would loose my career.

The employee in this scenario is a Clinical Nutrition Manager who works for this food service company. Their department is Clinical Nutrition, consisting of 2 employees including the Manager. Job security, maintaining similar pay up in the air.

Guilt and shame about working in a legal position for years where, instead of using my law degree (was supposed to do legal work per the job posting), I served as a personal assistant to my boss/did nothing for maybe half the time. I feel like I was paid for work I didn't do. I've since left that job but the guilt and shame remains. I feel that I lack the character of a lawyer and that I am unworthy of the profession.
