I want to shift my career towards Big Data or Data Engineering so in TCS i can get project aligning my aspirations. Or should I join GAP as its a captive and provides better package ?

Have an offer to leave Bain as a Manager for an L5 S&O role. How long does it take to get promoted to L6? Asking cause I'm weighing the pros / cons of staying. Also, I know a first-year Consultant that was offered an L5, making me ask why I even stayed this long.

How to approach salary negotiation? I was recently made redundant (UK) with 1YOE, and now have an offer in a tech firm for a strategic business analytics post. The offer is about 15% below my previous salary (which they know); I'd be keen to lift it up by a few £k to bring it up to roughly 10% below.

How should I go about asking this - given I'm unemployed I'm not sure I have much leverage, and I'm already coming it with relatively low YoE / high banding for the role.

People are telling me to join big organization because of the upcoming recession.
What's your opinion? I like some small companies because of their culture and WLB.

Im looking for an opening in TCS for MBA aspirants with 3+yrs of professional experience in Decathlon.

Interviewed for TCS on August 6th..Technical and HR round was done on same day and even got informed that I've been selected.. Only last week HR round happened over call and we discussed about CTC..

13 lpa for 3.6 yrs YOE...

She said she will send it for approval to HR head, till now there is no response.. What are next steps?
