Which org is best in this field between Deloitte Human Capital, PwC P&O, EY PAS and Accenture’s T&O? What about the smaller firms like Mercer and Korn Ferry?

I think Mercer/Korn Ferry do different work than Deloitte - things like compensation, benefits, and more HR stuff. Deloitte HC is more focused on organizational transformations, org design, and change management

D1 is right. Mercer is great in their field, but I wouldn’t want to do comp and Ben personally. I am in EY PAS and by virtue of the firm selling a lot of transformation work there is a lot of of change management for large projects to be had. I know that the Gartner reports and others found us to be a leader. Our double digit growth even in the face of corona speaks to that.

Mercer, then Deloitte

I worked in Mercer, 2 years in Rewards and 2 years in transformation/strategy. In the latter, a lot of senior people are ex Deloitte/EY and the work is more focused on strategy/design rather than implementation, but often you compete for the same work and same projects. Mercer has a huge advantage in people analytics - the other firms are nowhere close.

Unless you have worked at each firm or spent a significant amount of time with colleagues who have, everyone is just guessing. Each practice has its strengths relative to their approach, focus, and execution. But for the client, the project team members make more of a difference

Depends on how you’re defining org dev. Deloitte is great but forging your own internal brand there is tough because it’s massive. Consider Edelman Employee Experience

Def not Mercer btw

Brands matter. I would say deloitte and then acccenture

Honestly I haven’t been impressed with any Mercer folks I’ve worked with. My take is that they focus on really specific things that honestly I’ve seen Deloitte, PwC, ACN etc do just as well...and actually implement. Depends on type of client ask honestly.

Hi, I had my Accenture HR round last Wednesday and everything was discussed, from salary structure to usual HR interview questions. I am yet to receive any communication for further processing including my BGV and rest of the process. I called the HR yesterday and said I will receive further communication. Can someone please tell me if there is a chance that they will send me offer letter or any further processing and if this is normal for Accenture to take time after having HR round?

I’m taking the GMAT in September and would like to include my score on my applications to other firms. Based on what I’m getting in practice, it would significantly improve my resume. However, I heard many firms, particularly MBB, have hiring windows in August, so applying later would hurt my chances. Is this true, and if so, when should I apply? Is it possible to apply earlier and then fill in the recruiter on my GMAT score while I’m in the process?
