Yes. I believe infection rate in Harris County and surrounding areas will have leveled off, decreased. Faculty will be on campus learning new online learning platforms, and implement new strategies. It will give more time to put safety measures in place. Moreover, parents will be forced to find alternatives to school as child care facility . We will not be available to keep their children 5 days per week this year or next year. Public school as we know it has changed significantly.
Princeton High in Mercer County, WV delayed until Sept 8 for student return.
I would give the student a low score, because you are not to hold a student on the same grade and you want to have a piece of mind. Do not confront the parents, sometimes they are worse than the students.
We are on distance learning until at least Labor Day
Albuquerque Public Schools delayed FTF until after 9/7. Elementary kids go back first, then at some unspecified future date mid schoolers go back then after that high schoolers. No defined expectations as to why decisions will be made or how.
The county I live in is going all online to start in September. I am frustrated because the Paras in the district have no idea what we will be doing. This should be interesting.
Just found out last night when school board voted to start 9/8. Parents choice of f2f, virtual

That is scary they are offering f2f in Texas!!! What are these school boards thinking? I fear that the reopening of schools has become politicized due to Trump and DeVos threatening funding if schools don't reopen in full.
My county in Western NC has decided to go primarily remote starting August 17th. They are hoping to start partial in-person instruction Sept. 21st. They are allowing Pre-K, students with IEP's, and students who were academically behind BEFORE COVID-19 to receive small group instruction in person. We have not yet received any details about how anything will work.
