I believe improving one’s sales conversion rate is something everyone want to improve but no one wants to admit they would like to work it. Funny how lawyers will spend thousands on seminars to improve trial skills. But this topic is not discussed in our profession. I have read books in sales. But am unable to find any for lawyers. I want convert every lead I can. Does anyone have tips, books, cle’s or studied this topic?

Hi Fishes, I am actively looking for opportunities within sales support functions and currently applying for vacancies for Sales Operations Analyst, I have 4 years of experience using Salesforce for reporting and dashboard needs and order processing. I wanted advice if there are any roles that I could target where I could utilise my salesforce experience?

Hello! It seems this bowl is not very active but I'd like it to be. So here's my story: Born & raised in PR, moved to CA for undergrad & have been here since then. I graduated from law school in 2019, followed by a 2 yr bk clerkship. I did the evening program. I really enjoyed law school, in spite of the microaggressions, the late nights, & crazy competition. Love all things diversity in the law. Anyway, currently looking for a position in NYC/DC area. 🤗

Anyone from Mckinsey in here?

Worst way you've ever been rejected? Just got rejected by a recruiter saying "I'm excited to tell you that your interviewers loved you and thought you were perfect for the position (🥳!!)...but decided to go with somebody else (😶💔😭)."

a very specific question to all Canadians.

Current situation , i need to refund signing bonus which was paid along with 3 days of work at the company, taxes are withheld obviously
When you refund a signing bonus do you
1- refund ALL of it even taxes Withheld ?
2- refund only the amount that was deposited in your account
3- mix between 1 and 2 refund more than was deposited but less than the whole amount ( taxes should be refunded to me next year)

My contract says 2 and they want to do 3 Help

I am looking for a new job at the end of a long career. I have excellent experience in IP and Supply Chain Management. I've been fortunate to be in a high-paying position in the Los Angeles area and I rarely see comparable positions posted. The comparable positions at my company are filled by one of the big executive search firms. Any recommendations for finding the rare executive-level legal positions or for landing on the radar of the big executive search firms would be much appreciated!

Hi Fishes,

REG: Did anyone have ISOs, qualified, non qualified stock option questions or sims??

Reg on May 15 and I’m on chapter 6 at the moment and plan to be be done with chapter 8 by next week Saturday/Sunday (maybe Monday) . Any tips from people who sat for exam ? What topic not to sleep?

Question - my 18month clock stops Oct end. I have one exam left. If I test this month end for my last exam, but the results come in Nov (and hopefully I pass) will that still expire the credit for my first exam? Or I should be good?

Taking AUD this Thursday- Any last minute tips/areas to focus on?

Scheduled FAR for March 2nd. I’m going to be studying for about 4 - 6 hours every day. I’m also debating to start studying Audit at the same time. Do you guys think it is doable or should I just ...

Hi, with July Continuous Testing, does that mean there will be no black out months?

I have 3 weeks left to pass FAR before I lose Audit! I haven’t gone through all the material yet and currently on chapter 6 out of 10 chapters. Really freaking out!!! Has anyone passed before without going through everything? Any tips for my last 3 weeks of studying? It’s my last exam!! Thanks so much! Working FT as well 😭

I’m gonna be taking BEC on the 22nd. I’ve finished all lectures and have only finished 1/2 of the MCQs…. Will hopefully finish those before the exam, but any suggestions on which topics to re-look at? We’re the SIMS hard for BEC?

Hey fellow fish! New member here! Any tips on how to pass BEC? What content isn’t really tested? Best study methods/timing? Never took it before and I’d like to pass it before busy season kicks in! Thank you!

Just failed REG again for the 3rd time using Becker, if you have passed REG, what material did you use?

Has anyone had any luck with nts extensions. I requested one back in February and haven’t heard anything since.

About to take REG for the second time two weeks after taking AUD for the second time. Taking bets on passing, over/under is 25.

I believe there are no changes to BEC in early 2020. Does it make sense to start studying for BEC now? Or should I wait until January?

Will scores for exams taken between 12/31 and 1/23 really not be released until the target date 2/9? I’m new to the process

Need help folks, I did almost all 1500 practice questions from Becker and scored up to 90% variably, didn’t spend much time in Sims but when I take the mock exam to my surprise I scored like...

Audit section: what kind of sims did everyone get? What topics should I focus on?

I thought BEC would be easier than REG; I totally underestimated BEC 🤕

Audit- I failed about a year ago with 73 then 66. I have the week off I was thinking to get thru everything and then spend another week revising. Is this reasonable? I passed everything else
