Which PE firms are hiring consultants right now?

Currently a SM at a mid-market firm received an offer for a M role at a big4 for the same salary level I currently make. Does it makes sense to accept? I’m thinking I’m taking a step back now to accelerate my career long term and get the big4 exp on resume. Thoughts?

Hi! I just passed the bar and I’m passionate to become an environmental attorney. The problem is I don’t have much experience because I took an accelerated edu track where I was still taking classes in the summers instead of getting experience. I’ve been focusing on applying to enviro positions in nonprofits and fed/state governments. Is this hopeless? Is it possible to start in an enviro attorney position straight after law school? Should I give up and just succumb to a big law tort firm? Thxs!

Which offices in the United States are considered “big” in terms of having higher demand for head counts and new hires? I’m not looking to take advantage of applying to an “easier” office (there is none) but rather understand the supply and demand landscape.
