Most challenging role is of a software engineer trying to get his/her query answered from HR person.

HR

They are on different fields. Engineering is more on the technical aspect while Human resource is more on organization and policy implementation. You cannot do a comparison between two different roles.

I would say that client-facing roles or roles that require talking or interacting with other people is much harder compared to a technical job like software engineering. this is the reason why roles are specialized because of the difficulty they are in

As the job market recovers and tech talent becomes especially sought-after, some job seekers can be at a crossroads.

Fledgling startup or a big, established company: where would you work?

Working at a startup helps you pick up new cross-functional skills, forces you to dig deeper into your reserves, and allows leadership opportunities.

Big companies typically have a more structured path for career growth, offer benefits and perks to employees, and are perceived as more stable.
