I was passed up for a promotion after 1.5 years at the agency/in the role despite consistently great feedback and was told that I just needed more time in role. A guy with my experience level was....

Is Bezos really that smart or does luck play a huge role? I am sure I am smarter than quite a few at MBB but I still find myself working at a Big 4.
I’m an L4 MD at Accenture in health industry with 18 YOE and still a few years away from L3. I’m being considered for an executive role in a medium-sized firm focused in health, reporting to C-Suite with much broader responsibilities than my current role, a P&L three times my current sales target and about 40% higher TC. Any advice?
Hiring at ey! Hiring business analyst (technology consulting) DM me would help you with refer
Anyone else feel like they have golden handcuffs? At 7 YOE, I just don't see any other roles that offer over 350k TC for business roles. I'm really grateful for my current role, team and comp, so definitely not a compliant, but feels like I'll be here forever.
Am trying to switch into tech transformation or strategy from implementation, as it aligns more with my experience. Anyone able to give a referral to another Big 4 who has this offering??
Anyone have info on MBB/Strategy& supply chain consulting? Group size, actively hiring, common backgrounds (MBA/certifications required/helpful?), project types, & interview prep tips? Looking to enter as an experienced hire. Currently a procurement financial analyst and just passed my CSCP certification. Ex-big4. Thanks!

Anyone interview for/know about the CIB Consultant role at BNP Paribas? Recently reached out to me about the role. Seems relatively new from what I can gather.
Any tips on how to ask for a big raise that takes my title change into account? Went from assistant to director in 1 year and was not compensated for the title change. I did get an assistant however and the promotion approved (I had to ask for it). I’ve now been in the director role for 1 year and feel it is fair to ask. I’m making only 5% more than when I started as a marketing assistant.
Anyone hiring for a paid social AD in NYC?
In the process with ZS but not sure if I want to stay in consulting. However I’ve heard people are pretty happy there. Feeling really isolated in current position as I’m remote. Don’t want to (contd)
2 year AP at McK interviewing for AWS BD L7 role in UK. What should I expect as total comp? Don’t want to waste all that time in loops and then realise this is totally off my expectations. I see L7 ranges at levels.fyi but these are all US baseline - I have heard UK is at different ranges
Hiring managers: How many of you prefer external candidates? As an internal candidate, why is it so hard to get a reply or response? Please explain the disconnect between my expectations and reality
I'm looking for a product manager role in a product company. Tech products, FinTech, Health, SCM are preferred domains. YOE: ~8(7y 10m) CTC: 12.6 Expected: 20+ I am working as a product manager in a NBFC, but it's more of a transition role(they call it PMO, but it's not a PMO role. Because I have been part of PMO previously). I want to break into a full-fledged product role. Have worked as a BA/Project Manager earlier. Any referrals would be appreciated. Thanks.
Is an MBA worth it? Has anyone without one ever felt passed over for promotion or a position because of it mid-later career? My agency has a benefit of about 5k a year for education and I’m not sure if I should take advantage of it. I feel like the most valuable skills come from on the job experience and I feel like taking classes after work would be a strain.
Joined USI as an Analyst and I feel really depressed. My seniors are hell bent upon making it all the more difficult. I used to love my job once upon a time but nowadays I just dread the Monday morning and even more so the stand-up calls. On the top of all this my seniors/leads do not stop criticising my work and make me feel like a loser which has impacted my confidence. I sometimes break down alone in my room while working and feel very frustrated. Is this normal or am I just in a bad project?
Is there any criteria to get JB at D USI? I had asked the HR but he said there's some internal criteria for that (which they can't disclose apparently) and I'm not eligible according to it. Any idea about this? Or if the HR has indeed played me, is there anyway I can raise/report this post my joining?
Advice for someone looking to transition into Human Capital consulting? I have almost 6 YOE in talent. Would going back for Masters be the best course of action? I’ve been looking at organizational development and MBA with HR concentration. I have SHRM cert if that counts for anything. I’m really interested in people analytics and change management. Any guidance is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Anyone else feel weird that they will likely never make as much as their parents/provide their kids a similar childhood? The odds of making MD/Partner are outright low, and a lot of luck is involved. Statistically it’s likely I’ll fail out around M/SM and peak at that salary forever.
I have created Algorithmic Product/System for the client to take out inventory not-in-demand for long time to save storage expense and also provide an approach to prioritize Work Orders based on Market Demand. It’s more like an Manufacturing Plan. I want to get into Product Analyst/Lead role. What approach I should take? Any books to start with? Any events to attend? Any groups to join?

You’re billing an agency at a day rate but they still make you track your hours for internal purposes. If you only work a few hours and you’re billing for a half day do you enter 4 hrs or only the 1-2 hrs you actually worked?
Any experience with working for CITI (US)? Sibling is offered a role and is wondering if she must accept? She is looking to establish WLB considering her 6 month old baby still needs her time. Will moving out of a big 4 and getting into an industry role with CITI help her ? Any insights much appreciated!
How much raise can someone get switching from B4 to B4 laterally? I would be switching at 2 YOE for a 1 title up from entry level role. Severely underpaid currently (estimated at 15% below peers despite literally perfect ratings).
Sign on bonus pay back: Say I got 10k sign on and 6k is what I really got after tax. When I have to pay back, do I have to pay 10k or 6k to the company? In case of 10k, do I claim the difference during tax return?
Thinking about making the jump to B4, but it seems like they aren't looking for senior right now...what gives? Thought everyone needed seniors
