Morning: apple cider vinegar pills (tbh, not sure if they do anything, they just make me feel better) and a probiotic if my digestion is a bit out of whack.
Evening primrose oil to regulate my menstrual cycle, turmeric pills to reduce inflammation, and calcium.

With the addition of evening primrose oil and turmeric pills I’ve seen a big difference in my overall skin health! I always say that acne on your skin is indicative of inflammation happening inside your body so I try to address the root cause of my acne rather than solely rely on topicals.

Just started collagen, I add it to my breakfast smoothies.

Second collagen for recovery from workouts and joint issues and a multivitamin on days where I haven’t balanced my diet well. Pre-workout before heavy running days.

protein! for obvious reasons after workouts, snack shakes, etc

Fish oil for heart health, turmeric for inflammation, ashwagandha for anxiety, milk thistle for liver health, glutamine for intestinal health. I have an autoimmune disease and if you couldn’t tell, am a bit neurotic 😜

The supplements my doctor tells me based on blood work and medical advice.

AM green tea with fresh ground ginger and turmeric; ACV I’m using in salad dressing; I make my own kimchi for gut health

Protein powder and BCAAs; a general multivitamin and biotin

I am a fitness and wellness oriented person. I enjoy taking care of myself and I do enjoy working out. I try to stick to things I enjoy and have fun doing. However, I am struggling now to commit to exercising. I even went down to just doing a walk outside and doing strength training in my rec room 1x-2x a week… and I’ve unable to do that.
Anyone else experience this? Any idea on how to feel excited and energized about working out?

Does anyone know how to successfully transition from academia clinical research into industry clinical operations? I’m currently at a director level of a large research program in academia and oversee operations. Prior to that I was a clinical research coordinator with extensive trial experience from study startup-close out. Is Commonwealth good as advertised??
It just seems to good to be true. ( all the top ratings in JD Power etc)
Edward Jones also has excellent J.D. Power scores but we definitely have issues.........

Got laid off due to COVID and have been struggling to find a job. I wasn’t happy and my mgmt sucked so this is a good thing. Now I really hate the idea of working for a company. I know everyone works and I’m not a genius who can just start a scalable biz. But I just can’t get my head around the idea of doing something I hate for a paycheck. All these years of busy seasons burnt me out. Struggling in between doing something I enjoy for less pay and taxes for more pay.

I have a weird question/not sure how to describe it, so apologies in advance.

Sometimes I wake up with a sensation in my anus (I think) that feels like a pulled muscle? It’s like a pulling sensation that happens time to time when this happens. It definitely hurts for the 5 seconds it happens. Not sure what’s the cause of this. It happens maybe once every few months.

Has anyone else dealt with tonsil stones? I’ve never had them before and now I seem to get them a lot. Thankfully no side effects other than irritation and feeling ick dealing with them. Are there any workout classes that help you bulk up? Or is the only way to gain a lot of muscle is to lift heavy weights/consume a lot of calories/protein. I enjoy workout classes but feel like I always lose weight taking them and I have a hard time focusing at the gym on my own. Not sure if hiring a trainer is the best option in this case

Always felt like my peloton bike wasn’t calibrated well but after moving homes the issue is much worse. Now using my parents bike while traveling here for the month and very easily PRing way above previous PRs, better hitting target ranges, and also feeling like I’m getting an overall better workout. Any recommendations? Worth trying to recalibrate?
