got laid off at Hopin. job search is going well but finding it super hard in interviews to get an idea of the company culture and whether they actually care about work/life balance. they will obviously *say* they do but i fear in reality they’re just going to advantage, overwork you and pile on the deadlines. so many people in interviews with me have been so uninspiring, barely smile and seem totally burnt out. is this just my experience?

I have been a data analyst for three years. I’ve got advanced Excel skills and R Programming skills, intermediate SQL skills and recently completed Datacamp’s intermediate Python course. As I was browsing LinkedIn for jobs I saw some that I really like and that my background is a match for:)...
I have managed teams of over 300 employee and looking for senior project or program management positions open to other companies as well... TY in advance:)
How do you choose your references for new jobs?
Think FB1 is spot on about all of FAANG. I know people that hated working at Google, hated working at FB, hated Amazon (still no exposure to a Netflix alum so can't comment) and folks who've loved them all.
Personally I love AWS and hated my time at Google. I know plenty of people that would say the opposite. It all depends to what degree your personal values and culture align with your organization.

PayPal is great. Love the people / culture here for the most part... has its quirks though like any other large company.
Facebook is a love it or hate it culture. Took me a while to adjust but love it now. Generally though we are known for top pay but shit work life balance (varies by team though)
I really like working at FB (I think satisfaction is very team-dependent, and I feel like I’ve got a great team).
Without really knowing anything (I.e. this is pure speculation), if I had to guess which other company I’d really love working for it’s probably Strava. I can imagine Strava having a pretty great culture for anybody really into swimming/biking/running
