Exit ops from project management?
Growing up, gay 🐠, how many of you had a male role model? (father, uncle, male close relative, etc., that was present enough in your life to be a positively influential role model)? I had none, and was curious about others.
Was about to accept an offer with a smaller brand strategy firm and got a push to interview with Deloitte for a partnerships lead position that really matches my profile…but love the culture of the smaller firm. Go for big brand name and bigger check, or growth and connection at smaller firm with exciting work?? Obviously just in first round with Deloitte—but 25yrs old, so trying my best to think ahead and make smart moves!
Got an offer from Amazon, amazing benefits and role, but they are only matching me on my base salary? Any negotiation tips that I can use? I really want to take the offer though.

It's been 4 years in consulting performing data analytics, I wish to consider options in some data analytic tech companies. Suggestions? Or Recommendations of a good company with data analytics role?
BCG fish I need advice. Currently interviewing for a Consultant level role, they mentioned it was generalist track and it’s located in the south region. If I have experience and an affinity to work within healthcare would I be able to network and get staffed on healthcare engagements regardless of region? Don’t want to get stuck in energy work or another industry if that’s what ends up happening. Boston Consulting Group
Any recommendations for a full time position in Diversity and Inclusion? Unsure if positions like this exist versus a committee being an extra thing you do on top of your full time role.
Feeling stuck. I’m in my third role since graduating college 4 years ago. In each one, a quickly showed I’m capable, professional, and a high achiever (like many others here), but I haven’t really moved forward professionally. In each role, I was a leader in my cohort, got excellent reviews, and found great mentors in my superiors, but it hasn’t translated to promotions or raises. Sometimes I feel like my age/gender get in the way and people have a “wait your turn” mentality. Any advice?
Any insights on the Regional Strategy and Ops Lead role at Google for EMEA? Salary benchmarks, interview experiences, feedback from folks who have done this role?
Is there anyone here who has worked or working for Cox. I have an interview for a Process Manager role. Any tip is welcome. Thanks ladies.
How will a recession impact how companies hire? Will it cool down hiring (an area that’s hot today) or meaningfully reduce offer amount?
Thoughts on lateraling as a 6th/7th year at a v10 to a knowledge management role for steadier hours and $300k base? for context, I have a toddler and a baby and am the breadwinner. worried about loss of potentially higher salary bumps but I am drowning at work and miss my kids.
Does McKinsey Marketing and Sales offer good exit options? Or are you less likely to exit well? I do like consumer companies and media. Also, can you switch from M&S to general? McKinsey & Company I received an offer and trying to decide

Anyone who has made the jump from big 4 to MBB, what have you noticed the key cultural differences to be?
My dog is very sick again and it’s hard not to worry that it might be his time. Waiting to hear from Vet. Have a hard push to finish billable hours. It’s been just me and him for the past 12 years.
I need an assistant/paralegal. Probably part time at first. I live/work in a small city in Oklahoma, solo practice. I would like approx 10 billable hours/week (if part time) from them. What do i look for in one? Pay amount? (Most here make around $12/hour). Incentives for bonus money?
Anyone in need of United RPU / GPU, please DM me
I’m taking a few calls for new opps at a couple different firms and wanted to get a pulse on feelings from folks who actually work there to help me narrow it down. Agencies are: Weber Shandwick, Ruder Finn, FleishmanHillard and a smaller boutique called LifeSci Communications. From The sounds of other threads on here, I’m nervous about WS. Looking for a read on Work/Life balance, how well staffed they are, avg pay range (VP level), PTO/holidays/benefits, etc. So, how do you like working there?
Hey PwC time to step up your parental leave...
Applied to Google for a couple of roles and got a call from a recruiter for a strategy role. Thought this was odd since strategy isn't exactly what I wrote my resume for. Already offered at Amazon for a deep learning role with 25% more pay (i.e., Google Strategy would pay less). In general, what's the smart play here? Can I continue to focus on technical work and pivot to strategy later when I want to? I feel like I can work to ensure my tech skills are top tier, and when needed, do...
Does anyone have any resources they can share to prepare for Product Marketing Manager interviews? Been browsing through Google but wanted to get people’s recommendations as well.
I wonder if it's a case of the Mondays on the bench or if my motivation will just never return...🤔
My firm is virtual - all work done remotely in home office unless on client site. Haven’t traveled since mid October. It’s driving me nuts. What do you recommend doing?
Okay 🐠 I need your input on two scenarios I have. 1 - Join EY cloud strategy as SM working under two partners and with 2 other SMs (will be partners in the next 2-3 years) that I know well; with a fast track to partner for myself. Or 2 - Join BCG DV at EM level and work towards partner level there. Completed final interview last week and got positive feedback. I don’t think there’s a wrong answer, but I have the EY offer in hand, comp difference is negligible.
Has anyone seen the changes to United’s loyalty program? Any thoughts on the PlusPoints or new qualifying rules?
Does anyone know the comp/salary band for Capital one (Senior Associate, Risk management) 🥺🥺
Thoughts on the CPHIMS certification? Valuable or just another cert cash grab from HIMSS?
Anyone have any inside info on Critical Mass in LA? Leadership, work/life balance, culture, the usual.
I’ve been focused on my health and working out daily. I have been using old cheap leggings to run in and honestly they are losing their shape quickly. I’ve been looking to buy something else than old navy but hitting sticker shock. Here’s what I am looking for - high waste with side pocket leggings both in capri and 7/8. Also looking for a pair as we go into the winter months. Any recommendations would be welcomed.
If I received the Haas “Your Berkeley Haas Application is Complete” email a couple of weeks ago and haven’t received an interview invite yet… does that mean I got dinged?
I have a client who only wants to use MS Teams to communicate to us. It is a nightmare for many reasons but not sure how to stop this.
