Been debating if I should transition to working for the VA due to the amazing benefits, and increase in pay and I’ve had experience caring for this patient population… Has anyone transitioned and know if the pay increase was worth it? How much was the pay and what state are you in?

I have two young kids and a husband who is suffering from a medical condition where there is no cure. As a big law associate, I don't have enough time to be with my family. As my husband's health deteriorates, I want to spend more time with my family before it's too late. But at the same time, as the only breadwinner of the family, I know my big law salary is essential in maintaining my current level of life, which is just decent, not anything fancy.

What can I do? Just venting...

Wholesome post: got double vaccinated last night with boyfriend. Sick as dogs today (I’m a bit better so have taken care of him a bit more). I’m out of the delirious phase now. How do you deal with a crazy manager? My manager is the most micro-managing, erratic and emotional person I’ve ever worked under. The gaslighting is unreal.
