Which would be the best insurance for parents visiting the US?

Hello, all! I’m new to this app. I currently run a small business assisting home/retail owners with their claims by verifying insurance is paying them all they’re supposed to. I’ve been in the industry over ten years as an adjuster, sales manager for roofing company, ladder assistant, and supplementing. I’m looking for a way to connect with insurance carriers or contractors and provide assistance with estimating and claims services as a 1099. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

31 yo SM here- feel like I have lost myself in my career. New friends seem impossible. Out of touch with family. This is not the real me.. Advice on how to get out of the rut?

How difficult is it to start a solo firm? I’m a first year attorney working in insurance defense in Florida. I love my firm and the mentoring I’m receiving and I’m definitely not looking to move anytime soon, but I would love to start my own firm once I feel competent. Maybe in a few years. I often run into a former 6th grade (Health) student in the halls as I move every period to a new location to teach. This year for me has been compounded with the movement and teaching 4 different classes in a 5 period teaching day. This student just makes my day. Smiling and happy to see me and saying hello. Carrying a short discussion an elbow bump and away he goes. A bright ray of sunshine in my day. I choose the positive.... I’m thankful for students brighten my day 🔆

I am an IT Professional with 15 + years of experience of which 12 years in mainframe programming across various domains insurance, banking, telecom etc currently working as a senior Technichal Business Analyst for Lending completed the Pspo1 certificate recently. Experienced with both Agile and water fall model well versed in scrum master and PO roles Would it be a nice idea to switch as a product owner .

What’re your horror mental health stories from the industry?

It’s been a couple weeks since I turned in my resignation leaving tax and busy seasons forever. For 3 months my hair was falling out in clumps. There were tumbleweeds of hair all over my house. Since I’ve left I have not shed one strand of hair. Coincidence? I think not. I’m scared I am now in school starting a new career and being a poor student again. When I have doubts I think about my hair and my health and think I made the right decision.
