Yeah definitely sounds like they were suggesting that they would hire you/try to find a good workspace for you. But I also don't understand why they would say that during the interview (it kind of doesn't reflect well on them that they're unsure where they could fit you in the office).

like

That sounds like they were talking about a desk for you, but that seems like a very strange thing to say during an interview.

like

What are your thoughts on that.. Even I am surprised to think about it..

like

It sounds like they meant a literal table. Or, at least a workspace. I guess it could be a figurative expression, as in setting a table, meaning have work for you to do. Or, just might be a table.

Hello Folks, I have completed my Technical and Managerial rounds last week and got the confirmation from consultancy that I have cleared the interviews and will schedule a call with HR as per availability.
My question is usually how long does Nagarro HR takes to release the offer ?

Infosys was going to setup an interview today as they took availability details for today. After filling the survey form last, I just received a confirmation email that the form has submitted successfully. Till today I haven't got any emails or messages from them with the link of the interview. What should I do? and what's going on? Infosys Infosys

Hi all, I have just received news from my Google recruiter that my application was not successful for the APMM role I applied for but due to my interviews all being strong, they want to consider me for some other APMM roles.

I wanted to ask if anyone has had success through this approach and if there is a genuine chance of being accepted for one of these other roles despite being rejected for the one I applied for? Thanks!

I tried to connect with HR, she said it is pending for BU go-ahead.

Is there anyone else facing this issue.
Just trying to understand if they will release the offer.

Ok, so I have a couple of offers, one kind of lackluster, for the County. The other is for a credit union-I left credit unions a few years ago to join a FinTech supporting credit unions)
I was laid off last month and have had a flurry of interviews…this credit union offer is my favorite so far, I do have another offer I’m waiting for from another tech company which has a much higher salary range, but nothing is written in stone.
Should I counter? The offer is $95k for a project manager.

I am in the final steps of the interview process for an in-house position. I mentioned to the recruiter that I had unvested equity I would be leaving on the table. She said the company would take this into account and make me whole. She later asked for proof of the equity in the form of my account statement and balance, which I provided. I have not yet received an offer. Is it typical for companies to ask for this documentation if they don't intend to make the candidate an offer?

Been working at a startup law firm doing transactional work and recently the partner of another firm doing private defense litigation has attempted to scalp me with a base pay well above my current. How bad does it look to future employers for an experienced attorney (15+ years) who is pivoting into a different practice area and looking to lateral after only having been at their current/first job for 4-5 months in the new practice area? I've been told by a recruiter that it's not a deal breaker because of my experience level. But many colleagues have suggested I remain where I'm at (miserable and unappreciated - just took a $20k pay cut) for at least a year.

Looking to switch firms, getting lots of recruiter emails, but have a hard time making any decisions since I don’t have the time/experience w/recruiters to weigh their companies. Not sure how to best approach it really, as I want to avoid having to deal with someone who is just scouring form openings on their website. What’s the best approach here? I’m nyc, transactional, 3rd year, v90. Any recommends?
