Have it in daily! Best practice for your sanity

Facts.

Rookie mistake to not do it daily.

Always put the time in from the day before first thing in the morning. Good way to ease your way into the morning and get your brain working with what you had been doing the day before.

That’s a good idea.

Bill as you go, it’s really not that hard

Not me. Didnt do much all month so its not the end of the world

Me

Always put my time in right after I complete the task. If I don’t, I make sure it’s done before I end my day.

It’s in. But not released, yet. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Oops

Because my assistant does it for me

🙋🏼‍♀️

In. 250 hours. Ugh.

Everyone I know that doesn’t entire time daily or at least once a week is made utterly miserable by catching up on time entries. Why do this to yourself

I do. August was slow though so it wasn’t particularly difficult to do.

Yea but I billed the last two days of august to September

How do I avoid giving up my desired salary first? Tired of recruiters asking me what my salary expectations are without offering the salary range for the position first. My salary expectations are based on a multiple factors. In some instances I am willing to take a lower salary, but I don’t want them to know that. What can I say to get them to give me the range first and then I can state if that works for me or not?

It’s been one of those days. Crying nonstop and feeling just AWFUL. The thing is, can’t even pinpoint what is giving me so much agony. I have never had a paralegal who made my life easier. I know there are some out there who are awesome, But I've had three who couldn't proofread or manage more than a basic filing. Their main jobs were taking smoke breaks and b*tching at me about time sheets. Has anyone else had similar experiences?

I don’t work in big law, but some of my classmates, who are going into big law, are bragging about the low number of billable hours they are required to hit. I’m hearing 1,600-1,800 billable hours. If so, then I’m a little jealous 🙃
