Should I go for a starter home ~€300k or leap frog 2-3 years later to a ~€650-750k home?
Recently went through 4 rounds of interviews. Each one went better than the other. The firm is in a city two hours from me, but I indicated (multiple times) I’d be in the office at least 1-2 days per week, and more if needed.
Yesterday I got a rejection from them saying I didn’t indicate to them I was willing to be in-office.
Any idea what may have went wrong?
PwC vs RSM in ATL? A little background on me: audit senior for 3+years on private practice only, wanting to leave current firm before busy season, I’ll probably still work on the private side after transitioning to either firm and would like some work/life balance cuz I have young kids to take care of. Will have chance to get promoted to manager in 1~2 years.

For those of you who have HSAs, how much money do you have in them and how long have you had it? What are your short/long term plans for it?
I’ve been super stressed this month and my period was like two weeks early, and now on day 7 I am still spotting lightly. Has anyone else had this happen? I don’t want to freak out but wtf😂
All I can think of right now is the old REM song lyrics "It's the end of the world as we know it." I definitely DON'T feel fine. I'm not sick, but I'm sick about the US shutting down everything.
Any commercial strategy folks on here?
Just learned that my position is being phased out after only 4 months of working for the company and that they are outsourcing using steritech. We have to interview for another position within the company which only has two open positions and it’s 12 of us. My gut told me not to leave the company I was at but I thought the this would be a better opportunity. The company itself it doing extremely well during covid which makes me even more upset.
