USAA for all insurance (home, auto, VPP, etc) ~$1100 all in
Sweet. They work for me.
USAA. Just changed to them this week after Liberty Mutual told us it would cost $1900 annually to add a Tesla Model Y to the policy for the two of us. For comparison, LM was insuring our X5 for $800. Tesla quote was honestly just laughable.
USAA insured the Tesla for $1030. USAA was <$200 more annually for homeowners insurance than we pay LM, but with higher coverage amounts and lower deductible.
Yes, I’ve been with them previously. They are not competitive on Tesla rates though. For some reason many insurance companies have decided Teslas are a “problem”.
Allstate. Got two homes and two cars. Payments are very reasonable
DM me if you want my agents info, he’s great. Has a law degree and very informative when you talk to him directly but his staff is also great too
The reason Allstate’s rates are so cheap is because they aggressively fight claims. I know multiple people whose claims were denied when they had an issue. I switched to Erie from Allstate because if you can’t use insurance when you need it what is the point?
Been with Progressive for over 10 years now. They always have the best rates for me. Their snapshot program (they chip your car for 3 months to track your habits) for auto also cut my rate another 15%
USAA
Chubb.
Nationwide. Have everything with them, including life and pet insurance
We had Liberty Mutual for homeowners but when we bought a car we realized they were ripping us off because we got way better deals elsewhere. We actually went with Erie because they gave us the best deal for home + auto bundle
Rising Star
Followup - I’ve gotten multiple estimates and am sticking with Erie. They seem to be the best deal in town for my situation.
