Not Deloitte, high use of Google

Very low expertise, most of the time the other functional practices need to pick up the ball

Deloitte first, PwC/EY probably tied for second

Where does A&M stack up? There are human capital ppl within PEPI

I don’t see them much nor am I seeing talent go there.

Deloitte easy

I’ve worked alongside some of our human cap M&A folks at KPMG and have been pleasantly surprised.

How is Managed services team?

Has anyone else noticed the “love” that people’s posts and responses get? How does the math work between the love (5336) and its five components? 🤔 Just noticed it today.

I go out for my run at 5:00 AM in morning, this has been my habit since this summer, and this schedule serves me well (I have started and stopped running multiple times because of schedule conflict) , now that weather is changing (got into 40s already in early mornings), and where I live soon it will be freezing temps.
Would love some suggestions from early morning runners, how do you manage these months of the year? Any specific outfits you recommend?

Do you regret following the partner path vs. stepping out of consulting world to join a startup or something?

Soln Specialist mid year adjustment 12.2%

Despite the title here (I can’t seem to get a change to stick), I’m a senior UX designer who’s been at a company for 4.5 years. This week, I’ve adjusted my LinkedIn status to being “open to work”, for recruiters only — not actively seeking, just exploring options.

I’ve been unhappy at the org for the better part of a year since my former innovation team was dismantled. Just tonight, I received a connection request on LinkedIn from my HR director, whom I’ve minimally connected with. Coincidence?

Is there a profession you don’t want to date? What’s your reason? Mine is a chef, bc I don’t want to get fat bc I have no self control 😂

I want to leave my job as an IT Auditor- but I fear that “IT Audit skills” are not reasonably transferable to other jobs. I’ve barely been doing this a year but I am not a fan of the tik and check of audit in general. Im not even sure what I’d want to do- any career advice or idea of a new role?

Best paying industry in B2B? Vote.

I'm new here and in the country. Recently moved to Bangalore, India from Cape Town after my wedding.

I've received the following opportunities as UX Designer.

22LPA +1LJB + 2K monthly Expenditure + Quarterly Bonus based on Company Performance

30LPA + 1.5L Variable + 3L ESOP.

Both seem great companies.

What would be great in the long run in terms of taxes and benefits ?

Does anyone here use LinkedIn for prospecting, and have success with it? I have Premium, and I send dozens of messages per week, and if I’m lucky one person will respond. And most of the people I message work for companies that are already purchasing from us, but there’s no business relationship. Super frustrating.

The other question is: how many of you receive unsolicited messages on LinkedIn and just ignore them?

Happy New Year! What challenges do you expect to see for M&A in 2021?

I am a strategy consultant and just landed a role where I am expected to work with M&A in addition to strategy. Is there any good course to learn the whole M&A cycle as well as financial modeling. I can pay up-to $2k if it’s a paid course.

I haven't had an opportunity to be part of M&A. I have about 19 years of experience in industry and consulting. How to break into M&A?

What’s the difference between what the PEVC and DDV teams of PwC do? Other than the fact that PEVC is in strategy& and DDV is in PwC consulting

Those of you who are in supporting functions Human Capital, Digital etc., where do you source your deals from? Does it come from the Strategy / FDD teams always or have you been able to get deals of your own? (I have a M&A related offer on the table and I am considering it. Not in M&A currently)

I’ve been doing M&A for about 7 months now and still feel anxious and stressed basically every day. When (if ever), did you all get more comfortable doing this? I’m hoping it gets easier...
