I love Rosie and her team! Haha

I have never found someone who has inspired, influenced, or coached me. I did have a Capt who thought I wasn't motivated enough during basic training (a million years ago), so I had to repeat an obstacle course. He said I would repeat it until I got motivated, so I acted like a little peppy cheerleader to make him happy. 🙄

None of them. I've always been a bit skeptical of how they come off as the same type of self-help gurus that are of no help to anyone whatsoever. Would love to hear your point of view!

I don't follow anyone religiously, but I do appreciate how Rosie is different and more authentic than the others I've seen. She offers great advice and resources that's suitable for anyone at any stage in their career while promoting continual career clarity and growth

Gary Vee (Vaynerchuk) is my favorite. I've been following him for a while and his approach to success is like no other. He's inspirational.

Love this!! Thanks for sharing!!

Hello Fishes,

What are the different management hierarchy levels in EY-GSD (Kochi) Consultancy firm? (Consultant 1, consultant 2, Assistant Manager, Manager, etc.,) (IT Audit) I was offered Senior Consultant 1 in Consulting and the rank offered was 42.
Area: IT Audit and my Year of experience is 10 years and the package offered was 19 LPA. Is it worth accepting the offer? As of WFH as was agreed, however, over a period I have to move to Kochi from Bangalore and my current CTC was 16.7 LPA.

I’m getting a new boss and I get to interview them. What kind of questions should I prioritize?

As proud as my family is of my career and accomplishments, I think my mother would honestly be happier or just as happy if I had no degree, a husband, and several children (I'm 29). She doesn't expressly say it but the "don't you get lonely?" comments speak for themselves.

What, if anything, can be done to increase and encourage female representation in hired STEM positions? For example, should female and other minority employees have input on your companies yearly class of interns or new hires? Do you think women are underrepresented in STEM because of societal standards or because we have to fight harder to get hired? Having a bit of a debate with a coworker over solutions.

I'm the only woman on my team in the lab, and all my male colleagues told me today they just assumed I would handle getting our boss's Christmas gift and card together. They thought once I had everything they could just sign the card, and that would be it. What's the best way to explain that this isn't cool without coming off naggy? If we drew sticks or something I'd be fine, but this feels lowkey sexist. Thoughts?

Can anyone help me?
I’m 25 and have an array of experience within environmental science. I mostly enjoy being a field employee but recognize the pay is not always great. My current position is bureaucratic and technically oriented which is great for skills but not for growth. I know I have more to offer and want to expand into different areas of STEM. Any suggestions or recommendations would help, I’m open to anything!

Hi all! I’m an engineer working in the global health space and I’m finding it’s a small, small pool. I also just found out that a new hire (male, also an engineer) is the reason I got a raise after ~5 years of stagnancy. I love my job, but it’s time to move on. Anyone who’s worked in nonprofit spaces - did you stay? Did you switch to consulting/government/etc or go corporate? I’ve been applying without much response, and I’m debating whether a PMP very or masters is going to be necessary.
