Any idea on the compensation bump from audit senior to manager? Dallas area. It’s always been sold as the first significant bump in pay (and the carrot a lot of people chase), but worried about that going away given the pandemic. Just curious about the typical bump.
Anyone go from an all-travel, client serving gig to a role with basically no travel? This is what I wanted, but I'm basically in shock from the change. How did you adjust? I know it will take time.
Fam - starting a contract job and want to do Corp to Corp. The hourly rate was agreed upon for W2 but now doing c2c, does that mean I have to ask for 15% more?
Does anybody have that website somebody shared a while back that shows the FAANG benefits comparison? I can’t find it through the search.
Recruiter reached out regarding a role with McKinsey however as a contractor. Is this a good opportunity even though I’ll be a contractor? Whatever that means. Any insight? Thank you
I don't understand how the women next to me can elbow me so many times in a 1.5 hour flight....I'm not even using the armrest between us. Personal space??!
I'm just starting the traveling gig- any advice for airlines and hotel chains? I'm looking to build points quickly to earn a few free personal trips 😊

There’s no way this “Basement Biden” strategy will work for the guy. We’re nearing the final stretch of the election, and Biden is coming off as a coward who refuses interviews and barely receives any enthusiasm for his “virtual events”.
How do you guys cope with burnout? Too tired and too angry to focus on aligning boxes in word. Running out of energy, patience and passion. Can’t quit because visa dependency. Can’t roll off.
Fishbowl needs to fix the auto categorization algorithm. Now the Fort Lauderdale shooting is under the Layoffs search based on the word "fired".
I am an experienced consultant working at Deloitte. A recruiter reached out to me from PWC for a manager position. I have over three years of experience outside of US and a Masters degree from an accredited university in US. What do I need to know to respond to this recruiter. Obviously in the motive here to join would be a higher base salary.
I have both the Marriott and spg cards. Does anyone know if I'll get 2 free nights and double the yearly nights in August? Trying to determine if I should cancel one
I really didn’t like going into the office and traveling pre-COVID. I preferred to work from home so I could spend time with my young child daily. 4 months later, I am SO tired even after getting 7 - 8 hours of sleep every night and only putting in about 45 hours of some per week. 5 year old child is home all day every day and the stress of balancing work with child is Exhausting.
