I really think that the insurance policy given by mediassist is way more expensive for parental insurance, means who will pay for 50k+ premium and that too for large copay, I guess the leadership team should intervene here....Parental insurance is really important for any employee and most of the time is only needed.
Recently I used parental insurance and found that the insurance company only paid for 50% of the total bill.

Without the employer contribution, a large percentage of Americans would either be uninsured or under-insured.
Because people couldn’t afford it so chose to be uninsured. So membership is down unless insurance companies reduce costs.

Depends on the employer, I spend less than $100 a month for a $0 deductible plan.
You still have copays though, but the price is guaranteed up front. $20 for clinic, $0 for diagnostics, $400 for emergency room, and surgeries vary. I had an invasive surgery done for $800. They told me the price upfront and I never had to pay a penny more for the numerous complications that arose
