Help me ask for a raise in my upcoming performance review? In sum, my company’s HQ is in Texas and I feel I’m being paid a Texas wage when I live in Los Angeles (the role is remote). We do have a San Francisco office and I want to ask my boss to match me what staff are making there. As that’s more comparable. Based off of Glassdoor, my salary matches Texas’s exactly and SF has the same role at 10k more. Should I show him the Glassdoor page? Don’t want to come off too strong. Please advise

Hello! I was just offered a job, but the salary is significantly lower than the range I asked for and when I asked to negotiate they said, we can’t go any higher. Should I walk?

The range I gave was 80-85k/ annually and they said oh that should work, the range for this role is $35-$42/hr - but then they came back and offered me $35/hr.

The main draw to the role at this point is the name of the company. But not sure it’s worth leaving my current role.

This bowl was originally created for black attorneys in big law, but since it’s the only bowl for black attorneys, many black attorneys in other sectors have joined. Some people are apprehensive about starting another bowl for all black attorneys because it will take away from this bowl.
