🐠 who did an MBA, how many hours a day did you put in for academics and what grades where you targeting (A, B+, B, etc.)?

I heard that Stanford and UCLA are offering online masters program. Is it really worth and also what's the eligibility criteria and fee ?

What made you decide against pursuing a master’s?

I graduated with a degree in Business in 2018. I’m planning to pursue a Masters in Engineering (likely will pair with MBA) and have been taking the required pre-reqs over the last year from community college.

Is there a big difference between MEng and MS degrees? Or about the same?

I started off looking in going into Mechanical Eng but now looking more into Civil & Environmental.

Is anyone here willing to provide insight about job prospects between the two fields?

Is there a point when MBA doesn't make financial sense? I'm 29 at $180k base with additional compensation typically around 15-25% over the last few years.

I like what I'm doing I think, but a top MBA had always been one of those personal goals of mine. Goal would be to maybe switch to MBB where I think compensation is slightly higher than what I'm getting right now at my level.

Does it make sense to do a 2 year program, probably be $200k in debt and miss out on $400k earnings :(?

Need help with career trajectory..
Currently 13 yoe, mba,pmp,making 122k in DC area. I am focused in Java development working in federal with TS sci ci poly. I did try Amazon didn't get it but have a couple of potential offers from fed consulting or contractors ~190k base. I know I need to get more experience in cloud and cicd to make myself more marketable. I think MS could be option but need FSP and couple of coworkers think not worth it.

Looking for some advice on landing a mid-level REMOTE role. How can I get interviews and make myself more hire-able? 10 years prof experience with the same utility company, following an MS in Mechanical Engineering. Also got an MBA along the way from the local Liberal Arts College. My experience is in regulatory, engineering program mgmt, and currently construction project mgmt and supervision. Would love to go more technical and/change industries obut can't afford to step backward in pay.

Do Federal consulting firms value MBAs or specialized Masters degrees more? Interested in the earnings potential from MBA that is often touted, can’t help but think that it is less applicable in Fed.

I got my Bachelors in Psychology a few years ago but I couldn’t find a position that seemed like a good option for me that was well paying and fulfilling. Can some one please help me get started on a beauty regimen? I’m 48 and my only skin care regimen has been witch hazel to remove makeup at night and facial moisturizer in the morning. What’s the culture like in the Dallas McKinsey office?

Currently 1-1.5 years out of college, working at a T2 firm doing commercial due diligence work. Have gotten some offers but confused about which one to take:

1. OW PE team, joining in a position higher than at my current firm, basically skipping a year. OWs PE practice as far as I know doesn’t have huge market share
2. McKinseys PE practice but coming in a position lower than where I currently am
3. Stay at my current firm which is experiencing high growth

End goal is to move to the buy side

MBB - EM’s/TL’s/PL’s how much do you work in a week? I’m honestly over the Deloitte lie that Deloitte has a better WLB hence the better pay. As a Deloitte M I spend 45-60 hours on work + BS ad hoc admin asks by Partners and SM’s

If it’s all the same in terms of WLB I would take my chances with firms that pay better
