Stripe and cash app are doing some great work. Chime is doing some cool film and activation work. Nike is obviously always killing the game.

Do you mean in-house shops that are managing their brand?

I’d suggest
+ CVS with their Heart Haus
+ Citi

Hello all, my first post. Anyone else feel like their general manager won't promote them because they're afraid you'll make them look bad. Like they don't do their job well enough so you'll outshine them? Do you stay? Leave? Try to build the relationship? It's been a year. @Aimbridgehospitalityllc

Anyone else finding it really hard to care about super bowl commercials this year? They feel like a relic from another time to me.

My org is rebranding, and in short, the new visuals suck. My sr designer told me my entire team wants to quit. Personally, so do I. Leadership made all the decisions without involving me, and has basically told me my job is not to have an opinion but to execute on the new direction. This is hilarious to me given that last year we were pushed to become more strategy-driven.

I know we all probably just need to leave. But in the mean time im losing my sanity trying to do my job. Any advice?

So I recently got a job offer on the brand side, as a marketing specialist in Canada for a reputable company likes of Loblaws, Shell, Sobeys, Canadian Tire. What are the pros & cons (subjective or objective) of working on the Brand side? I work in eCommerce.

I’m on large seasonal marketing campaigns as a creative account manager& have an opportunity to move onto Brand side work but don’t know what to expect.

posted in strategy but figured might as well toss it here too - does have experience with startups? did you like it? currently interviewing with a small but growing CPG brand to lead their brand marketing & creative. my background is in creative strategy & comms for a large CPG brand, so the autonomy is exciting - but I want to make sure it’s a good move. how was the experience? was valuable for future roles?

I'm being forced to write copy and make a social media calendar for my company (ft role) suddenly after a bunch of consultants took over.
I understand everything is a learning curve but it's high time they hire resources.

Pointing my copy mistakes all the time won't help a multi million $ company.

Is there a way to explain this professionally that my forte is design and not social media management.
