I have a question about mid-size Philadelphia law firms. Does anyone have any insight about what life is like (culture, pay, billable hours, cases, WFH, perks, etc.) as a junior partner/senior associate/of counsel in the litigation department at the following firms: Montgomery McCracken, Schnader Harrison, Stradley Ronon, Dilworth Paxson, Klehr Harrison?

Doing a remote interview tomorrow for an in-house position that I really want. Invite says "[company] is a startup, so a full suit is not necessary! Business casual attire is recommended." Like I said, I really want this job, and the idea of not wearing a suit is just weird to me

Should I still wear the suit or would it be counter productive?

Starting soon in Boston but the the WFH situation was still TBD when I interviewed. Are there any updates on when everyone would need to go back to office full time in the U.S.?

So I just found out I'm pregnant and need to tell my employer eventually (it's still quite early). Since this is WFH, I can obviously keep this to myself for much longer. When is the appropriate time to tell my company? (I have a good relationship with them.)

Weird question- or confessional (unsure tbh)- do any of you ever play hooky? I billed all weekend (7 year atty in ID) and today is wicked weather in the south so I’m “wfh” but not really. I didn’t have time for Sunday scaries but now I’m having Monday guilts, as I cope by watching my dogs sleep and watch the GOT prequel out of the corner of my eye while going through emails. Question: I've had 2 opportunities cross my path in the past week. One is on the on the way towards a pivot I want to do and it really the one I think I'd want but the 2nd came through a former boss, is $20k more a year than the first, but only slightly different from the job I have now.
