Did this last winter when I faced a potentially life-threatening illness (luckily it didn’t turn out that way). Left consulting a few months later. Life is fleeting and I want to love what I do with it.

Hear you, hang in there and have faith in yourself.

My brother in the UK got the virus. Really serious as he’s got an underlying condition. I’m in North America, and obviously can’t go. So, yes. A lot of introspection going on over here.

That’s very rough. Sorry to hear. Hope things turn out for the better.

My roommate and best friend refuses to get the covid vaccine whenever it’s available because she believes vaccines gave her sister autism. We’re reaching a point of tension where I can’t bring anything up with her that isn’t topical because she’s going through a lot and becomes easily triggered by anything foreign to her. I can’t move out right now. And it also makes me sad that she’s so close minded about the world. Any advice for coexisting/coping? I predict winter will be tough. TIA...♥️

Does anyone know of where to find remote part time work opportunities for older Indian women? My mom was a part-time after school teacher but has not been doing that due to covid (dad is high risk). I’m having her do some online typing lessons to get her to be a faster typer, maybe find her a data entry gig. She does not want to do nanny’ing / babysitting. She’s a great teacher though and she’s trilingual (Telugu, hindi) - anyone know of where to find opportunities?
