New to Fishbowl?

I love it. I “fry” anything but Tofu.
Definitely worth reheating leftover fried food like fried chicken. Makes it crisp as new.
We fry a lot of potatoes - homemade fries.
Invest in one!! I love mine
Great for frozen food- use it for frozen Trader Joe’s dumplings, fish sticks, fries etc. Cooks super quickly
My wife uses it a lot, for all kinds of stuff. We like the nongreasy feel of the stuff cooked in it.
Awesome, thanks for all the feedback. I might have to get me one. Do you put raw meat in there? Is it easy to clean?
Yep. Straight in. Don’t need oil or anything. Takes like 10-15 min. Easy to clean. Wife loves it.
Pro
Yes raw meat. An inch steak takes about 10-15 min to get to perfection.
Easy to clean and so far everything that stuck I’ve been able to soak in water and remove with my bare hands (because I don’t want to scrub it - that gets the nonstick protective covering off mine which means it’ll stick and be hard to clean). I’ve also been guilty of just sticking everything in the dishwasher and it seemed fine...so far.
I cook steak in mine.
I cook raw chicken breast, wings and thighs in the air fryer. I love air fried wings!
We use ours for wings quite a bit. It’s great for basically almost most forms of cooking. You won’t make a pot roast using it.
I love mine! I cooked a whole turkey breast and the family went on and on about how great it was. I did carrots in it and loved those. Also have done chicken tenders and am currently eating Brussel sprouts reheated in it.
I think it would be especially good if you’re feeding just 1-2 people.
Which air fryers would you recommend? Seems like its worth the buy

I use Phillips because it was the original and it’s been great! Got mine years ago when it first came out and it’s still doing its job. Phillips is more expensive though and honestly I’m not sure how much the technology differs.
Make sure you get one with a shelf attachment! Makes making large batches of wings (and other things) doable.
Genius
Do it loser

It’s a game changer. Better than crockpot apparently (brother’s POV, I don’t have a crockpot, he has both). I use it at least every other day.
Mostly use it on meat (chicken, steak, sausages) and have done veggies a couple times (fries, squash/zucchini). Potstickers and scallion/seafood pancakes. Put fish in it once but I didn’t get the timing/heat right so it overcooked and was too dry 🥺 But that’s the only time something’s come out of there not juicy.
Ew really? I hate squash and zucchini in there how do you cook it? Mine was unbearably soggy
Anyone have good recipes for the air fryer they follow? I have one and haven’t been super impressed with it, but maybe I’m just doing it wrong lol
I have a combo pressure cooker and air fryer. I love it. So versatile and effective.
I have a ninja foodi. I make everything in it. I didn’t use the stove for about a month after I got it.
That's what I have. I use it practically daily. Twice today!
Me. It's essentially a convection oven and the name is just a marketing trick
Does anyone also have pressure cooker? I already have one and love it but wondering if there is a huge difference with an air fryer?
