Who here is WFH in the absolute best place on earth? (NYC doesn’t count. 😏)

I am joining a new organization (tech/mostly remote) as an AGC managing a team of product counsels. I am a relatively experienced manager but would love to hear everyone’s advice on how to make this transition/introduction as smooth and productive as possible.

If firms go exclusively remote, I have zero reason to remain living near “home office”. Likelihood we’ll shift to that model, and can live wherever?

How many of you ladies own sex toys? Is it really that common? Kinda want to get one while I wfh but hesitant 😩 also any (cheap) suggestions are appreciated ❤️

The pandemic has been a blessing in disguise for me because I've managed to move from a miserable in-house gig to a big city agency where I truly belong. It's permanently remote at an awesome company so we've decided to design our lives and move our family to Antigua on their digital nomad visa, which allows us to live there for two years as remote workers. Has anyone else taken advantage of the digital nomad visa programs available in much of the Caribbean? Would love to hear about it if so!

Hi all, what does it exactly mean when your manager says “we suggest you come back to the office 5 days but it’s upto you”? To me it sounds like, “yes you can choose but when it comes to a promotion you’re not getting it if you choose hybrid or remote”. Need some opinions please!

I am WFH and roommate is a nanny with a pit mix dog. Roommate is out working during the day and is tired after work and generally chills/sleeps. She doesn’t really take the dog out on walks, so the dog gets really whiny and hyperactive during the day at home with me. For my own sanity I walk the dog during the day and let her out. But recently my roommate has only been coming home to sleep and let the dog out and refill food/water. Dog misses mom and whines a lot and walks around wanting attn

My younger sibling (non-binary) graduated in spring of 2020 and has been living at home with our parents working part time with a social media gig. Before the pandemic they were also working in the service industry. They don’t drive and really struggle with remote work to the point that getting a full time remote job feels terrible for them. I know my parents have been getting more direct about telling them to get a full time job, which is obviously stressful and they don’t feel employable
