DOJ agencies are probably the only Feds that do it regularly

Lots of established bureaucrats roll in sneakers and jeans.

My clients do, every day.

IC/DOD wears a step above casual so we are expected to wear business casual to be "a cut above". We only suit up for big presentations or engagements at my client site.

I wear a suit every day, so do my clients

I do except on Fridays

I wear a suit almost everyday

I’m currently a Real Estate Analyst (graduated undergrad in May 2020) and I’m trying to pivot into tech preferably a financial analyst, product management or project management role. How can I show my value to tech recruiters with only one year of experience?

Any tips for building a client base from scratch? I’m a 4th year associate at a firm of 12 attorneys. I practice in business, compliance, and real estate (primarily on partners’ files) and don’t litigate. Most of the partners’ clients are wealthy friends or friends of friends (not my circle). Associates are not referred business, even cold calls, and so far “networking” events like Chamber of Commerce luncheons have been a bust. I equate a book to autonomy and career choice and pressure is on.

I am new to consulting. I was wondering. How do you approach a client/executive if you think they are going about a problem in the wrong way? They requested a data analytics project but I think they approach they are taking to get the answers is wrong. Right now, I am trying to communicate with different stakeholders to get a better solution. However, I am not sure how to pushback.

Where do you draw the line between sexism and being old-fashioned? PowerPoint gurus - I’m helping a client find short term help for an important presentation. Please DM me if you are good at storytelling and slide design. You will be compensated for this work. This will be a 3-4 day part-time engagement. I’m at a small tech focused firm, and don’t have in-house designers as yet. Plus I don’t want to spend hours building slides. Nothing illegal or fishy here. Thanks!
