I work more hours and I do more chores. I came to realization that my stress tolerance is a lot higher than my husband’s...
Aren't you afraid of spoiling him? Haha

We pay someone to come for 8 hours two times a month. Best $280/month ever.
I know that you said to get out but I'm sharing because it has improved our marriage vastly...maybe even saved it...and I want you all to know if you can do it, DO IT
I (husband) do all of the cleaning, cooking and laundry. Also do all of the yard work. My spouse (also husband) has a sweet life.
I am doing most of the chores (the husband).

I am doing most of the chores (wife). And I am SO appreciative of being able to spend more time at home
I (fiancée) do more of the household chores, but my fiancé does some of the less desirable (to me) tasks like mowing the lawn and taking care of spiders. Definitely more appreciative of this time! Makes it easier to juggle house work since no time is lost traveling to and from work, and I can easily take a couple minute break to start the wash/dishes/etc. whenever I want to.
My (F) boyfriend moved in with me at the beginning of the quarantine. I definitely have been doing the bulk of the cooking / cleaning. Somedays it is exhausting on top of work, but most days I actually like it and am just thankful to be cooking for more than 1 person.
Absolutely, I would love that. But I’d be doing these chores (maybe at a lesser volume) for myself anyways and I’ve taken on a “choose your battles” mentality.

Myself, female. He helps if I ask but never ever out of his own initiative. When we first moved in together I wasn’t working so it made sense but he got used to it and now takes it for granted even when I work longer hours than him. My fault I guess!

You’re right. I’m ok with cooking, and we have such different cleanliness standards that I really need to show him how to do basic things nobody taught him, which requires a lot of patience and pedagogy but we are getting there. It’s just that sometimes it’s easier to do it myself than ask, explain, still find food on clean dishes or my pans ruined, have to explain again, him get upset no matter how patiently and kindly I explain, and have a debate about how clean things should be or which standards are excessive.
Me (husband) prob do a little more, but we also have a 6th month 👶🏻 so duties are pretty split. And definitely more appreciative.
My hubs does everything lol

Hmmm. We each do our own laundry. We share responsibility for towels and linens. My wife handles the cleaning. I take out the trash and have started cooking more for myself during quarantine. I pay bills and whatnot. So I'd say we're pretty even.

We split chores evenly. We’re both attorneys and both equally busy. We divide and conquer on chores — we clean the full apt together on Saturdays (I blast music and he’ll listen to his podcasts), he’ll take out the dog and fold laundry during the week, I’ll make sure food and groceries are stocked. I cook, he cleans up after meals.
I’m definitely more of the “clean freak” although he’s clean as well. I really appreciate that he takes the time to do extra little things to help out that he probably wouldn’t do if he lived alone but does them for me anyway to show me he cares.
My husband does most of the house chores.

Pro
Definitely me (the husband), no more or less annoyed / appreciative than before.

We have the house cleaners come every two weeks and to be honest, my husband does the most in between.
My husband washes ( in sanitary program) our bed linens weekly and sometimes even irons the pillow cases 😄
Husband is doing more. Loving more time at home watching my kids grow up.
Its oretty much aplit between us...though i cook more often as I am a better cook. But he dies the clean up. Also we have cleaning service every 2 weeks for the heavy duty staff. But I don't like the 24/7 company of my so. I miss meeting other people, coffee breaks etc
Pretty 50/50 honestly but we are both fairly clean. I’m mixed on being annoyed and appreciative. I just bought a kayak since I live off a lake and bought a bunch of plants and picking up hobbies to do during my lunch break to be more appreciative but I’m more of an introvert and enjoy being around people so I’m constantly 50/50 but know I will miss being at home when I have to go back
