What are you waiting for. Anti Vax? Health conditions prevent Vax? Afraid of needles? Don't trust Vax? Slow to organize and schedule? Other? I wonder if this thread will blow up like others! Just my 2 cents, after reading this reply, go online and schedule an appointment for your shot. Many areas in the US have same day appointments now (not sure where you're located). I will certainly appreciate you for it.
Fully vaxxed. Do you need help finding an appointment? If so I’m happy to help, just message me! (And no, not at all trying to be condescending, I know that every state is different and it can actually be tough to get an appt scheduled even though where I am it’s quite easy now if you know where to go.)
OP: There are literally billions of people in the world who would do anything to be protected but have no access to a vaccine. It’s a privilege to even have the option. You not taking it is nothing to brag about.
BDO, many of us have members of our families and close associates who have been working nonstop in the ERs this past 14 months as a result of the virus, and I assure you everyone I know in that position (dealing with COVID patients every day) has been delighted to get vaccinated, and indeed find it to be very “worth it” based on what they’ve seen. The medical workers who have most understanding of this are the ones who a) treat patients every day who have it and b) epidemiologists and those are the perspectives I weigh most highly, above those with very specific specialities that mean they have little reason to be exposed to/treat patients with COVID, nor study epidemiology in any detail beyond the basics in med school. Also, by negative long term effects of COVID I was referring to those with long-haul symptoms, those with significant lung scarring, and those who doctors believe have neurological damage. Will it take time to fully understand the full scope of those injuries and see how they develop over time? Yes. Is it clear that many who have had COVID will be dealing with the impacts for some time to come? Also yes. Plenty of articles out there on the topic.

I believe 120M people are fully vaccinated.
Cool story, tell us more
I was really wondering if they had gotten any COVID vaccines yet. I could hardly bear the suspense

Trust the ScIeNcE!
Double vaccinated three weeks ago. It's the best.
Literally nothing better than the vax shots.... What kind of life are you living???
Not vaccinated and not planning on it. No long term testing has been performed on it and it’s one of the first MRNA vaccines. Not going to be a test rat.
mRNA is not something they just thought of last year. They have been developing similar technology for years.
Second dose yesterday.
Me either and don’t plan on being vaccinated.
Getting my second dose this Sunday
Fully vax’d since March. Highly recommend.
Vaxxed and ready !

I’m fully vaccinated and so are all my friends and relatives over 16. In NYC you don’t even need an appointment any more, you just walk in.
I got Johnson 2 weeks ago. I guess I’m fully vaxd in another week of waiting?
I thought it was two weeks? I got mine two Saturdays ago so I’ve considered myself fully vaccinated as of 4 hours and 11 minutes ago
Also fully vaxxed and two weeks out from my second shot so I’m pumped!
Typically home grew child cared under the Democrats policy offer food to their mouth that brag about not chewing it
I think I known d3 trick combo of bad grammar and no punctuation resulting in fun post all around
Getting my second dose next week and I am ready
