Who is taking Monday off and having to work extra hours? I thought it was either a floating holiday or an actual day off without having to make up the hours. Leaders, it’s not a day off if you have to make up the hours, you’re just shifting hours around 🙄

Any ideas on how to negotiate a delayed start date? I really want it to be Jan. My mental health needs some time off and this company breezed through interviews to offer in 1 week when I was expecting it to take at least a month. I really need some time to recover from burnout.

I have a serious question regarding this because time is running out. I quit my job last year on Nov 5. I had about two weeks of PTO accrued and I wasn’t paid out my PTO. It was nowhere on company policy other than I was told “it’s known we don’t pay out PTO when someone quits”. Could I file a law suit to get me paid for those accrued hours?

Is it unreasonable in TAS to ask for 3 weeks of PTO off if I’m giving like 4 months notice? I have my personal reasons for it.

I started in the industry in 07 for an institutional trading desk and then the recession hit and I got out of sales for management. I was in insurance sales for 2 years prior. 15 years in, I am 100% burnt out and currently taking a 2 week vacation. Does anyone know if there is a modified, more condensed way to input the new K-3 information from a K-1 on a 1040 so that our staff aren’t having to input every single country’s information. Can we put it all to something like Other and then attach the K-3s or a statement saying available upon request? Just seems like overkill to arrive at the same answer, but potentially I’m missing something. Senior here and the manager is out of office so figured I’d ask the fishes!
