Hi All,
Persistent Systems is giving 10% variable on gross annual CTC. HR says you would receive minimum 70% of variable pay every month and remaining 30% will credited once a year at the end.
Does anyone has idea on this? Can I believe this and include 70% variable in my take home

Hi folks, I have recently joined Publicis Sapient taking an offer of 14.4 LPA. I have total 4.5 years of experience and my previous CTC was around 3.4 LPA. I had various offers in hand but not one to counter this one and PS is providing me 4x+, so I couldn't negotiate much.
Another thing is I was an immediate joiner as I had left my previous organisation 3 months ago so I couldn't wait to think about this offer.
But now I think it's low, what do you think please let me know and suggest.

The final decision maker is the person who has the money. The person who is saying I'm going to spend money on this person.
It depends on the decision to be made. If it's a hiring decision then that's handled by management. If it is big financial growth decisions usually that's handled by the CEO.
The top-tier decision maker is the CEO. But if you want to get hired into a company the decision-maker is usually made by a manager.
Think this depends on what decisions are being made on behalf of the company. Hiring decisions will be made by different people than say overall business decisions, etc
If we're talking about 0-10 employees in a company, the CEO would be the final decision-maker. If it's going to be 10-50 employees, then it will be the VPs. Look for specialized roles such as Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, etc., if we're talking about 50-500 employees. If we go over 500 employees then look for the regional, specialized role. Also consider that with every decision-maker, there are gatekeepers — these are the secretaries or executive assistants.
