I've worked at the same engineering firm for 4 years. I'm currently making $161k with only a $750 bonus, but excellent vacation (4 weeks, cash out anytime, rolls over indefinitely), 45 hours a week. I have an interview with a recruiter at Guidehouse this week for a Technical Project Manager role. It seems to be focused in the government space and requires a security clearance. What sort of salary and benefits could I expect for this sort of role at Guidehouse?

Depends on the role. I interviewed with McK and the guy said that he is expecting his team to travel full time again.
Very project/client/leadership/team dependent here
Flights are packed and so are airports
#passengers/flight may be sane but #flights may be lower than before. Don’t mistake full flight w/ precovid passenger demand

I’m back to pre-COVID travel, but the airlines aren’t prepared for it at all. Fewer flights, more expensive, and ridiculous delays/cancellations are all making it a thoroughly unpleasant experience.

I travel 2x per month, enjoying the collaborative white boarding these days. It really makes a difference in team creativity and productivity. It’s great to be on the road again.
