I’m a founder looking to raise a pre-seed and, I’m interested in looking into some more thesis-specific investor networks to gain some value add folks. I’m familiar with some players in the VC space but am specifically interested in value add angels as well!
Hi there. Ex Deloitte Sr Mgr here, currently in tech pre sales (SaaS / MarTech). Recently spoke to both Salesforce and Adobe recruiters for roles that I thought were lateral moves (Sr SA / Sr SC), therefore I did not proceed with the selection process. The recruiters from both companies told me they typically hire at that level, and people are considered for promotion to Principal in 1 to 2 years. I found that odd. Is that right? What’s the typical TC for SAs and SCs there? (15+ yrs exp).
Any Monitor Deloitte people in here based out of Southeast Asia? What is the avg. salary raise (base + performance bonus) should I expect from 1st year Consultant to 2nd year C? Current performance scatterplot is at highest top right, utilization rate 90%. Thanks!
Starting off my Monday feeling incredibly undervalued— inquired about a promotion a while back and no steps were taken. Manager promised to help but never did. Woke up to see two white females whom 1) I work closely with 2) had shorter time at the agency than me promoted. Such a slap on the face
I’ve been practicing for 6 years in-house at a media company (was a startup when I joined and is now more established), straight out of law school. Due to the small nature of our team (3 legal members), I have been involved in all areas of our business and even advise c-suite frequently about legal risks. I received a promotion, with another title bump on the horizon this year. I have an opportunity to go to a start-up media company as the sole attorney. Anyone else have experience doing this?
I started a new job in January and have performed well. The person who is a step above me in organizational hierarchy is leaving and my director has recommended me to take the vacant position. This of course comes with more administrative responsibilities along with the work I am currently doing. Director says he will suggest a 10k pay raise, but I believe the added responsibilities should be worth more. Am I wrong asking for 5k more?
Got an offer from EY(london) for manager level position. Fixed pay is 82k GBP for 7 years of industry experience in credit risk management. Could someone pls share the experience about annual raise at EY(london) and how career progress/promotion for someone at manager level.
I switched 2 companies and respectively I had 2 PF accounts. And the amount from all of these accounts is successfully transferred to my current PF account. But the problem is, in one of my previous PF account there is still some amount remaining. Seems like it got added post I raised my tra sfer request. As online I guess we can only raise a single request for amount transfer to current PF account which I already did. Can someon please help me with the to transfer that remaining amount. TIA

I am currently a biomedical engineer at @U.S. Food and Drug Administration with over two years of experience. I would like to hear everyone's experience navigating the GS increase (salary raise) as a government employee. Here are some questions for discussion. How long did it take you to be promoted to the next pay grade? What do you think contributed the most to that salary increase? If you transitioned into the private sector, what drove you to make this decision? Thanks!
Cpg brand managers, any recommendations for in store retail vendors to help drive sales? Working for a frozen desert brand. In a bunch of Walmarts, buyer is unresponsive to our promotion ideas yet pressuring us to get more sales.
Happy to have just received my promotion to senior manager after a very challenging year, backed by an even more challenging year prior. I've got my own beliefs what a senior manager does, or should do. I'm keen to hear transition challenges others have gone through when becoming a senior manager.
Change my mind: PLA leadership does not care about the PLA employees. I have more than 90% utilization for this year and at the end have received a paltry 3.75% comp raise. Where is all the money that the firm made this year going to? I will not be surprised if all the MDs have consumed most of the profits and have left peanuts for the employees. Where is the transparency in the comp numbers that we asked for? We have just received lip service in return to these questions.
I know there are fast track promotion but those are just 4-5% cases and that too depends on Market. Except few cases, a Con is already performing like SC in their milestone year. Now the next default milestone year is set after 4 year for next level promotion. What is the motivation factor to remain in firm when you already know you won't grow for 4 years? Please genuine answers only.
I have been offered a lateral move within my company to a role I (believe) I will be more interested in that will suit my skills more. However, I’ve now been offered a promotion in my existing Role, and have heard that this is a pretty big deal and almost fast track to Director. Am I mad to pass up a promotion for a lateral move that is unlikely to promote me for some time?? I’ve been in my existing role almost 2yr. Will it affect my future growth? I’m 30 so would love to be a director soon
Is asking for a raise at a company I’ve been at for 6 months to soon? I believe the work I’ve been doing is worth more than what I’m making now
The health insurance of vois is not good. For employee 2 lakh with 10% copay and for others 1 lakh with 20% copay. Is there anything, where i can raise the coverage with no copay? Also, the variable and bonus is same? Or bonus is over and above CTC?
How much % raise in base salary would you accept in an offer to move from Gov to private?
I’m currently in change management and have no experience in supply chain but I’m interested in getting into it. Realistic to transition in? Would CSCP be my best shot?

I'm overwhelmed by grading my students' writing. It takes me at least 10-15 min to grade each one for almost 100 kids. Any tips?
Anyone do remote ER coding for companies using 3M CAC? And if so, would you share your salary? Love my job now but would consider a move if the pay is better

Hello, thanks again for doing this. Throughout your respective careers, how have y’all dealt with imposter syndromes (If you have, not too assume or project) ? And as you’ve climbed the corporate ladder so to say, has it gone away?
I sort of hate how negative I've been on here the last few weeks. You're rewarded for being snarky and the continued dopamine hit from each reaction to a mean or rude comment just builds on itself. I'm going to try to do better here.
Hi, so I’ve been working as a (TCP temporary creative professional) while one of the agency’s employees was on leave. I understood it to be a FT position, clocking in, etc but last week a bunch of employees were on vacation and I didn’t get projects. My work from the week before was all approved, so I had no edits. I asked for work, reached out, etc but ended up with very few billable hours, which annoyed the bosses. Now I’m not sure how to proceed. Do I NGAF, clock in? Or wait for work?
Anyone studying for the GRE?
Is anyone here a member of the gathering spot and recommend it as a way to connect with other upwardly mobile black people in your area? I don’t need it for coworking but curious about the social aspect of it. In my mind, it’s a jack and jill for adults.
