Definitely the PARENTS!!!!!
Parents 100%
Society. I find that the media and the environment glamourizing flippant, insensitive, and rude discourse or behavior has given students more negative role models to emulate vs. positive ones.
Society without a doubt.
Short attention spans and a push for transparency has created a distrust in people in authority.
Parents and I want to say admin, but they are under pressure as well from their superiors. Current societal norms are a factor which lead to crazy parents...🤣
Adults. So choice b, c, & d.
Parents, parents, parents, parents, parents.
Policy makers.
Administration (to the 8th power)
Parents...Most parents think they know about education, which they don’t. Also, they can destroy the culture of a school by constantly complaining to administration, who usually bows to the pressure and do what they say.
I have an alternate response: the other faculty members who can’t wait to tear down positive things happening in classrooms/on campus.
E. Coworkers. If you don’t have a good relationship it makes dealing with everyone else impossible.
C, so much C! I’m not just including building admin, two of whom are raging assholes but also district admin.
Admin!
Admin
No it’s admin without a doubt
As admin, always know that our hands are just as tied as yours are. It just may seem as if we have power. Trust me. We really don’t. We’re in it for the benefit of the students too, but there’s only so much we can do.
Administration
d) education policy, or I guess that would be society and then parents are #2
My coworkers make my job extremely difficult. The rest of my department is really lazy and don’t like to be a part of a team so I’m always stuck picking up their slack.
