Fishes need advice, I'm a M3 and my Partners have repeatedly told me that I am the strongest candidate for promotion this year, they haven't said it for sure though. I got contacted by Deloitte Digital, and I am being offered a Senior Manager role with a slight bigger pay when compared to my estimated salary after promotion (10k per year). Is it worth changing? what are your thoughts?

I could use some guidance on how to transition out of firm life into a government role. Prior to law: four years working for a state and a city, and four years before that worked at a consulting agency strictly serving government agencies and cities/counties. Can anyone explain the bonus cycle at BCG? It sounds like bonuses are given annually at the end of the year, so if you start in July do you receive a pro-rated bonus that year or do you wait until the first bonus period after completing a year of work?

I lateraled from a small firm (30 attorneys) to a midsized firm (200 attorneys) in July as a third year corporate/M&A associate. I’m getting married in 6 months. How can I lose fat in my arms?! I feel like my arms in my stomach are my biggest problem areas. Or at least the ones that make me the most self-conscious.
