Hi everyone, I'm comparing two offers from Accenture and Cognizant. Could you help me figure out some of these questions: 1. At 5 YOE, what kind of package can I expect? Current offers: Accenture (12LPA fixed, 2.5L variable), Cognizant (14.3LPA fixed, 45K variable) 2. Nature of work - What kind of work can I expect from these companies? 3. would I get the opp to use any authoring Tools? 4. Work life balance - which is better? 5. Increments - avg % hike? 6. Culture - which is better?

If you are starting as an Audit Associate some time from now with Deloitte or any of the big 4, do they expect you to have passed/completed all 4 parts by the time you start? Received the Becker Reimbursement email from the recruiter not too long ago but have yet to start. I’ve seen plenty of people get to Senior at a big 4 firm without the CPA so I am a bit confused in that aspect. Any helpful feedback will be very much appreciated.

EY2 - Looking mostly for seniors and managers. Do you have clients you could bring over?
Firms all have non solicitation clauses. So, no one can bring clients over?
Until 1-2 years. They don't last forever
EY 2 - no, DHG will not sponsor a visa
Right but what client is so attached to you after two years, even after working with replacement managers from your old firm? That’s why I also never get the question about bringing clients over...
Senior Managers are expected to have profitable client relationships, and other firms don't really hire Sr Mgrs without the expectation they could be partners. But to become a partner, you have to sell work. It's easier to sell work if instead of coming in thinking someone will hand you business, you come in with a client or two who is ready to buy from you.
Right but that relationship is not the same after two years non solicitation period of not working with them at all
A non compete doesn't mean you can't keep in touch with them
Yes, I understand. As I said, they are moving on and working with other project and relationship managers during that time. Occasional lunches likely won’t compel them to follow you when they have mentally gotten used to your replacements.
Senior Manager 1 that’s absolutely right and if it’s IT Audit work who would even consider changing their auditors for just one person in the team.
