I would. Just so I can quit with style with some explosive F-bombs.
I'd drop off my laptop, tell my two friends bye and leave
I would. I worked hard to get here, and lottery doesn’t necessarily mean set for life. Plus, I’d rather keep the lottery winning quiet so I’m not flooded with distant relatives and friends who all need a loan or a favor. Ease out slowly if I do decide to go.
So funny you say that, when the big 700 million dollar jackpot drawing was happening, the partner was saying to us in the lottery pool that even if we would hit it then we would still want to keep coming I n because we would be too bored retiring this early hahahah....yeahhh riggghhttt.
I’d still walk into work but would feel significantly less stressed
If I hit that bit 700 mil or higher lottery a few years back I’d walk in with a paintball gun Ari Gold style and light up all the asshole partners in the office I have worked with or know to be jerks through friends. I’d tell each of them a big F you for not supporting your hard working people by dicking them over in CRTs and peace the F out.
PwC2 has the right of it. Keeping the status quo for a little while will only be a benefit in the long run. I’d absolutely check out and just start going through the motions, but I’d still show up for awhile.
I think I would! I genuinely enjoy my job. I’m in a unique roll (I’m one of two people in the firm who do what I do, I work in an internal job in Risk Management) so I would stay until they found someone else and I would train them. But definitely would not keep working any longer than that.
EY2... I think you mean "role"
Rolls are delicious 🥖

How big is the lotto right now?
