Hello Fishers, I was placed in campus this year. As a Technical consultant in PWC India and I’ll be joining this Jan 2023 for Internship my Full Time starts in August 2023 , can I know is there a possibility for recession to effect my job in the future? Like in some companies the HR just asks you to resign since they cannot find projects due to recession. Should I be applying off campus roles to be safe?

When do I begin adjusting? It’s been 4 months. I joined as an associate and I feel like sometimes my work is sloppy or I’m overwhelmed. I’ve gotten feedback that I’m making progress but that sounds fake. I’ve also gotten feedback that my work is sometimes sloppy. The last report I helped write had a ton of write ups on it. After years of good ideas being watered down and meh day-to-day work, the first piece I'm SUPER proud of is releasing tomorrow. Whether it gets PR or awards or not.. Just wanted to share how good it feels when you work your ass off, sell something cool to notoriously difficult clients, and the final product is actually pretty awesome. ✨🥺

How’s your WFH workload, all? This week: Mon: 10 am - 2 am. Tues: 9 am-8 pm. Wed: 10 am-9 pm. Thurs: 10 am - 8 pm. Fri: 9:30 am-8 pm. Sat: 10 am - 7 pm. Sun: noon - 4 pm, then 7 pm - 11 pm.
This ... is ... not ... sustainable! I’m the sole earner and have a kid, so “just quit!” during a pandemic is not it - and “setting boundaries” ain’t easy when I’m always reachable by text/zoom/email. I’m fortunate to have a job, but damn. Working From Home = Working Forever From Everywhere. And it sucks.

I’ve been in the industry for just about 5 years. 4 of them in creative. This year, the reality set in that I don’t see myself doing this long term. I’m at the ACD / Senior Writer level.
