TC now is 190k base and some pre-ipo stocks as a BI Manager. Current company is expecting IPO in ~June (not vested any yet because I joined in October 2021). I want to take the middle offer but maybe I should go big and get more Series A equity? Thnx

Currently in final rounds for a mid sized tech company as a data scientist. Heard positive things about culture and people were nice.

However, FAANG and other big companies like Microsoft have started reaching out for first round ds positions. TC is also much higher (I am guessing 30-50k higher)
