Started two jobs at once. (Accepted both offers) one from public accounting and one from industry. My thoughts are to test both out and quit the one that i like the least. Both are mostly WFH. How would you quit lol? Is this a bad strategy lol?
How is Work Life Balance at HCL Technologies ? Career Progression? Job security? Work from home ? HCL Technologies
Hey guys, I got offer from ZS and my DOJ is April 27th. My HR told it's work from home for now but is there any communication sent to ZS'ers regarding the companies plans on future model ? Is it asking anyone to come to office immediately?
Did any of you get a dog in your early 20s while living here? How hard was it? I currently live with my SO and have been wanting one for awhile but just nervous about if something were to change in my life. Right now it would be super easy as we’re both WFH. But obviously I’m young, things could change, and we’ll likely be going back to work at some point…i would think. Plus in a normal world we go out on weekends. We have plenty of ppl to care for the dog while we travel so that isn’t a concern
Heya! MediaMonks is hiring a LOT of roles in the US right now. We have offices in SF, LA and NYC (tho we're mostly all remote and not mandating office attendance) with openings in many departments. We're expanding, we're hiring, it's a great place to work! Check out the roles on https://media.monks.com/careers - everything that's open will be listed - and hit me up if you're interested!
I have mastered the mid-day 20 minute nap while wfh and it's starting to become part of my sleep cycle. I am screwed if I ever have to go back to the office
alright WFH fam where we at
If you were still in undergrad would you prefer 1. Go back to campus and have an in person/hybrid learning experience with restrictions on social life 2. Have your school go fully remote for the entire fall semester 3. Defer for a year and resume your education fall 2021 when things will hopefully be “normal” I think I’d choose 3 but idk. Tough call, and I feel bad for current college students
I’ve been doing Workday implementations for 4 years and I’m sick of traveling. Any good exit opportunities? Or firms with more remote focused work?
Current job isn't very demanding. Offered another remote agency job. Unethical to work both? I would finally have financial freedom.
Seeking FL mid-level strategist for 8 week engagement starting immediately. Please have research experience and at least 3-4 years working in a strategy role. Nice to have: B2B or pharma experience. 100% remote.
Any way to negotiate for Bay Area salaries, while not living in Bay Area (asking since a lot of Bay Area companies are full WFH for likely remaining of 2020)? Anyone have experience with this?
I’m confused on why people make WFH locations such a complicated topic like my company announced if we temporarily work from another state there might be tax implications etc.
Traveling with your boss After a week of work travel and sharing a house, I ended up having to share a hotel room with my boss our last night, only due to logistical curveballs. Nothing we planned. I’m a bit mortified. I just started this full time role. It’s remote, so this is literally the first time I met them. No one is at their best when they’re sunburned, exhausted from multiple nights with 4 hours of sleep and knowing they’re gonna snore. Graceful recovery tips? -Mortified
We’re currently hiring Technical Product Managers at Amazon that can be remote. DM me if you’d like more information about the role.
I started with my bar prep company in March and have been working remotely since. I don’t feel like I was ever properly trained (can’t tell if that’s because of poor management or WFH or both) but I have a hard time with the contract management system and have made several mistakes. Of course, I wasn’t trained in the CMS and am only taught how to do something correctly after I’ve don’t it incorrectly. Any advice on keeping things in perspective? I feel like I’m underperforming but only with tech

How remote/hybrid friendly is JnJ, specifically Janssen in NJ? Anyone with insight on their post covid plans or prior policy?
Have your nonprofits announced a return back to the office from WFH? My org is scheduled to return after labor day.
What is everyone’s opinion on going back to the office post-covid? Are you looking forward to it or would like to be more remote permanently?
Getting this off my chest!
Been a miles hoarder for my whole life (United, American, Delta). I just learned about fidelity (2% cash back on all purchases/no annual). Seems legit. Any one have experience?
The longer I stay in this industry, the more I realize that no one has their shit together and all these companies are still functioning out of sheer luck.
When the Marriott lounge manager emails you 2 months after your last project ended to see how you're doing...😑😑
Today's meeting with the client, "... ultimately we would need the solution. You need to grab this by the b....neck" *awkward silence* *faint snigger* Me - I get the girth of the situation now...
When you go to the office to increase productivity but the client's Remote access doesn't work because IT says "connection is too secure" WFH the rest of the project
Anyone seeking or thinking about doing a big 4 change to Deloitte in the DC/NOVA/MD area? Why might you be attracted to Deloitte vice where you already are?
I don't know what I'd do without Amazon prime. I get to go shopping during the week and have all these goodies waiting for me when I get home.
Hangover=working from home
