Anyone have any insight on Data Insights & Automation role at Uber? I had applied for S&O, recruiter contacted me saying I look like a better fit for this role. There’s not much info but seems like a heavy support role. I’m a data scientist (consulting track, so client facing) for context

How much is position scrutinized when you have a brand name on your resume? Has anyone successfully made the career move from an HR specialization to an HRBP role? If so, how? I have been working for 7 years in a very niche HR specialization and while I wear many hats on the HR team, I feel like this is hard to express to recruiters or even get an interview for an HRBP role. My niche area has really burnt me out, as it’s very political and I want to expand my horizons. I am already working on completing my GPHR certification. Any other tips?

Accepted a Senior Accounting role on the client side recently. Wanted to see if that’s a good filler role for a year or so to eventually transition into an FP&A role. Anyone out here been in a similar situation? Are you happy with the switch? The industry doesn’t really hire audit seniors into an FP&A role (Based on my experience). let me know your thoughts.

Great exit opportunity to a national NGO to lead their transformation COE. $ marginally less than what I make now, but overall better WLB. 5 weeks vacation, 15 sick days, reduced summer hours & they're looking to see if they can give me the extra 30k to pay back my signing bonus (since I'm leaving Acn within the year). It sounds amazing and meaningful work! A tiny part of me has Stockholm syndrome and nervous leaving Acn...

Any firms hiring for non-federal roles right now?

I am applying for a job at a consulting firm and it seems like the role I am applying for is a step down for me. I am really interested in moving from my current organization but wondering if I should first go through the process for the role advertised and then try to elevate it or rather bring it up front during the initial discussions with HR/hiring manager. Thoughts?

I'm bullish on the startup for the long term. Would you: 1) Recoup your initial investment pre-IPO and let the rest ride 2) Sell the full 100k, pay capital gains tax, and diversify 3) A mix of both, and if so what allocation
