Who’s using talkwalker for social analytics? What do you love/hate? Any tips/tricks/best approaches, or better vendors out there that you’re using? (For reference, switching over from NetBase)

Hi there! I would love to give you a custom demo of Talkwalker and answer any questions you might have.

I used talkwalker years ago, using netbase now which is miles better - curious if you have the same opinion

I have used Talkwalker and other social listening tools like Netbase. I think Talkwalker is a great Jack of all trades, but master of none, which is not necessarily a bad thing. Each other tools I have tried were stronger in one area (for instance sentiment analysis) but were not as well-rounded as TW.

Looking for tips. College was not for me while I was young. Since then I have built a great track record at my previous job in sales, succeeded in a project manager internship, and have exceeded at the role for a year now. Unfortunately, I do not like the direction the company is headed in and want to move on. I have gazed at new companies but the lack of “education” seems to be a reoccurring obstacle. Being in the bay area competition for these roles can be a bit tough. Any tips or tricks?

I was on the phone with a guy I dated 2 months ago. He was telling me about all the people he went shopping with. Some names I knew, others I didn’t, as the name list continues he mentions “a personal friend” in the mix. which I thought was weird in the moment cause why didn’t he just say a name. I didn’t ask like I should have. I would of made a joke like whose a personal friend your cousin? Lol. Would others assume he is dating based on the “personal friend” comment

I'm an analyst who prefers managing data systems and data operations than doing the actual analysis work. Is there a market for this? Ad ops?

I am trying to move to being a Data Scientist for tech companies. Currently working as a Analytics Manager on the ad agency side and don't directly manage anyone at the moment. My analytics team is very small, just me and the director.

How do you answer questions when hiring manager asks if I currently manage people. I have helped train people in the past.

Hello I am curious to know what people think of getting a masters degree in Data Science. I am looking at a program that is 32k which compared to others is not as expensive. I have experience with python and I work on my own projects but no professional experience. I am finding it extremely hard to break into an entry level data analyst role. I am hoping that a master degree would help with that process.
