What kind of emails? Maybe you're above their pay grade.
But the issue is they’re copying the partner and my mid level and my junior

Distro lists are a cluster. Sometimes people don’t feel like alerting the entire brigade, so they just pick 2 names regardless of hierarchy- don’t let it get to you

Just ask to be cc'd on emails. I often get bogged down on who I should cc and then end up cc'ing my manger, my colleague in the UK for her FYI, but not her manager who is equal to my manager, but I should probably cc everyone, or just forward to them? IDK.
What do you mean by "minority" name?
A4, I totally agree. I don't think her name has anything to do with it.
Just ask them - maybe they assume that if they can handle they don’t need to bother you with the small stuff.
If you’re not actively participating in the deal, you could get left off sometimes. I’m a midlevel but usually run a deal with a partner supervising from afar and a junior. If it’s an easy one, I try to take a step back and let the junior run the day to day while I jump in for more high level issues. What I take issue with is when the junior runs off on their own and has a chain without me on it. When a client leaves me off a chain, I instruct the junior to loop me into the response and make a note to the client or whoever to include me in emails. When the junior leaves me off, it pisses me the f off because it’s always this one junior who thinks he’s hot shit. That guy I’ve needed to reprimand before and bring the issue up with partners as he’s scheduled and ran calls with clients without telling anyone.
To add: I am usually the only woman on the deal - my side, other legal team, client, etc. Sometimes this plays a role especially depending on the country I’m dealing with.
