Ex mil to consulting here... nailed it.
Hooyah
Met a lot of awful govies and contractors. Also met awesome govies and contractors. It all depends where you are at
No I’m the OP from the other post lol
Y’all should get married
Ex military to gov tend to keep their management style. Strict and stern Ex military to consulting develop more soft skills and dont use the same techniques. My 2 cents 🤗
D1 - former military are almost uniformly professional (pun!). It’s the angry unprofessional civilians that will get you. That said, it certainly varies - entire pockets of toxicity to my current client, who is generally lovely.
They are tired of consultants who don’t know their work as well as them getting paid factors more in salary to say the same things they’ve been saying for years? Former govt employee here.
Yea right lol they dk their own jobs 😂
They have The Worst Big Boss Ever?

Pretty sure you're joking, but the d-bags I've experienced in the feds over the past ~15 years haven't been restricted to just the last 3 years 🤷♂️
Under paid and overworked. You would be mad too if you had two masters degrees and only made $60,000.
Also think it depends on what agency you’re referring to. Blanket statements aren’t super helpful.

Bruh you just posted the same thing 30 minutes ago
Nop! Different person!
Low pay, boredom, surrounded by other zombies and half deads.
I will say there is a “type” for sure.
If veteran: attitude unless you were there
They are miserable and know consultants/contractors get paid more.
