Need some advice... I started at a new agency recently. Almost immediately upon meeting one of my male colleagues (over zoom) I felt this attraction and genuine connection. Context: he’s 11 years older than me but both of us are single, never been married, no kids, etc. he’s not my boss and we don’t technically work together on projects. I want to get to know him better but don’t really know how to approach the situation (or if I even should) without it being inappropriate or awkward. Thoughts?
Question for the folks here that have recently gone through the visitor visa process for India: what am I missing?? I created the visa application form online and submitted it back in October for my dad and younger brother but is there a timeframe for when we hear back? The site is a cluster and I can’t figure out what I need to do in the meantime or do I just wait to hear back? Is there a step by step somewhere that someone can lead me to? Thank you and I owe you one!
Anybody did the apics certification in logistics ? I have the choose between the cslp and cscp but not sure which one I should be doing
I have final round interviews with two companies this week. Yesterday I was fired from my previous position. How / when should I discuss this “career update” with the two companies?
Just curious...for those that work at Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, social media companies...how do you limit your screen time? Are you so sick of social media at work that you don’t care about it when you get home? Do you let your kids have access?
Got an offer from Accenture Federal for Manager, $155k and $10k sign on. 9 YOE in consulting and expecting MBA next summer. Fair deal?Accenture
Interviewed for an industry role last week. Interviews went great. Got an email from the hiring manager, asked to set up 15 min to connect later this week. Would have expected either an offer or a 'no thanks' would've come from recruiting/hr. Anyone else had a hiring manager reach out first after an interview?
Have you joined a company with a lower title and did you regret it? Joined current company couple months ago after a two-year full time MBA, from a US top 10 business school. And I’m regretting it now.
Was getting lectured / berated by a client today. Almost closed my laptop and said I’m done with this job mid-meeting. How close have you guys felt to a breaking point? Has anyone quit spontaneously?

Current S1 in International tax (CPA, non-JD), making 84k, Midwest at big 4. I’m considering switching to a mid size firm. Would it be reasonable to ask for 95k?
Project leadership - please don't overload analysts/consultants because they are "good" ... it will burn them out and you will lose talented resources
Apologies for the dumb question but what exactly does partner mean in today’s world? In olden times it would have meant you were a partial owner right? Does it still? Or does it just mean extra highly paid employee with a lot of leadership responsibilities? We don’t use the term at Accenture of course since we’re public, but I’m curious what it really means at b4 or MBB, beyond just extra high paychecks? Are there actual partner benefits, like owning private shares of the company?
What is a reasonable base to ask for a first year manager at EY (FSO). They are asking for my compensation expectations and want to make sure I am not throwing a random number out there.
2.5 YOE in tech Corp Dev for 120K. People say that MBAs aren’t valued in tech, but a lot of my team have them, and about half are from M7. Is it worth getting an MBA, even when in tech?
Do you guys think that working in NYC/LA ( big markets) and working in smaller markets ( Midwest, southwest, north east ( excluding tri states)) have the same Grueling hours?
