How do you deal with spending the holidays alone? I've been alone for many years and it's never bothered me as much as this year. I've been by myself since March and I'm very lonely.

I don't like telling people I'm alone because I don't like the "I'm sorry" response so I avoid them even more. It's a circle I can't seem to break. I'm feeling very depressed.
