Lol you clearly have no idea about the Atlanta market.

I mean I just thought Atlanta was such a small podunk town with its measly 6 million metro population, no way it can compete with cities 5 times it size like Houston who has a metro population of 7 million….Houston is sooooo much larger, like LA large it’s sooo much closer to LAs 13 million person metro than poor po dunk Atlanta. I mean what businesses does atlanta even have to generate legal work for these firms? Who flies delta anymore? We all fly southwest now. And I mean chick Fil a and coke and CNN??? None players. Where are these Atlanta firms even getting business from???

Jones day isn’t headquartered in Atlanta. Its headquarters is in an even smaller city.
This too. Imagine what OP is going to say when they find out Cleveland (gasp) is home to Jones Day.
I just saw the other post and realize this is sarcasm. Poster I feel you. Atlanta is a great city but no one on here is going to tell you that the Atlanta big law market is comparable to Houston or even Dallas for that matter. It is just not.
Since I'm from the midwest, this is how I see it. Atlanta is Cleveland and Houston is Chicago.
Yes Cleveland is a great city with a lot going for it but it's not Chicago.
I mean Atlanta is a small market but they are respectable and an attractive spot, so please calm down. Atlanta is similar to Cleveland (btw Jones Day is headquartered there) and Miami I think. Not a major big law market but not a small one either. You will find a few v100 firms there. Not on the same level as your big cities like DC Houston and Chicago but you can find a few firms who pay market there I heard.
Public service announcement: this is what’s called sarcasm

lol why is everyone so focused on the ATL market these days? OP, listen, ATL is an attractive market. The legal market may not be as big as Houston or Dallas but it has a decent number of V100 firms with a significant presence there. Other than Houston and Dallas, I wouldn't put any other market over ATL in the south.
Do you not understand how cities develop?
I got trolled lol
