Why are so many people migrating to Alix? MBB, T2, B4? Or is that not true?

2nd year manager at MBB (4 years consulting experience with MBA) and offered an L5 at Google. The comp is comparable, but feels like a down level. Thoughts?

Is 60k a fair salary for an A1 / Audit Associate role? This is big 4 in a medium to high cost of living area. Should I negotiate higher or for a possible bonus?

I am up for promotion to senior at a Big 4 firm this year. I wanted to see if anyone has tried/succeeded/failed at negotiating a higher raise? I feel like since Big 4 is so set and stone with promotions, it’s uncommon to negotiate. I don’t think I will last very long knowing the increase is marginal and I already feel like I am not making enough for the amount of work I perform.

What are tier 2 consulting companies? Tier 3? I think it’s indisputable that MBB and of course #1 Deloitte are Tier1.

I’ve been deeply depressed before (in ‘17), but have dug myself out of it. Now I am feeling that things are starting to slide again: anxious, not sleeping, not eating, procrastinating, my performance has started slipping. I am trying to get back on track (restarted meds, therapy) but am so scared it will be as bad as last time...

Is it possible for a company to rescind an offer if my start date is two months away? I let them know I was flexible to work around a vacation and start earlier but they still gave me a start date two months from now.
